Galway and Kerry clash on Sunday afternoon

For the third time in five seasons, Galway and Kerry will lock horns at the last eight stage of the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship.

This time around, of course, it's a clash with a difference as the counties get to sample their first fixtures in the new Quarter-Final Group Stage - or Super 8s as they're more widely known.
It's the second instalment of Sunday's Group 1 double-header (throw-in: 4pm), preceded by Kildare and Monaghan (2pm), and maroon and white supporters will no doubt be arriving early to GAA headquarters to run their eye over Galway's upcoming opponents.
In Group 2, provincial winners Dublin and Donegal meet on Saturday (7pm) with Roscommon and Tyrone getting the weekend's action underway in the evening's curtain-raiser (5pm).
The Super 8s will be played on a league basis, with each team facing the other teams once. An away trip to St Conleth's Park, Newbridge will follow for Galway on July 21 or 22, with Pearse Stadium the venue for their final round-robin match against Monaghan on August 4 or 5.
