‘Colosseum’ awaits on Sunday — manager Walsh

GALWAY manager Kevin Walsh described Sunday’s Division 1 final as stepping into ‘the Colosseum’ where Dublin’s familiarity and home comforts in Croke Park affords them major advantage.

“At the end of the day, these Dublin guys haven’t been beaten too often in the past number of years, so it’s going to be a huge challenge for us. At the same time, you have to be up there to put yourself up against the best. You will definitely learn from that, regardless of what the result is. It’s a great situation to be in and something we’ll look forward to.”
