Corofin young filmmaker hoping for national success
A COROFIN student has reached the final of Ireland’s Young Filmmaker of the Year and is hoping one of the three films he has qualified with will be enough to secure the national title.
Jonathon Connolly, a student at Archbishop McHale College, Tuam, has a total of three films through to the finals of the competition that he has entered for the past seven years.
‘Stalker’, ‘My City – Gaillimh’, and ‘Nights Out’ are all in contention for the top prize and will be screened at Fresh Film Festival 2018 in Limerick from March 20 to 25 where Ireland’s Young Filmmaker of the Year Awards will be presented.
