Attracta's dethrone Jarlath's

ST ATTRACTA’S secured their status as a modern-day kingpin of Connacht schools’ football with a controlled display against St Jarlath’s in miserable conditions at the Connacht GAA Centre in Bekan.
The game was never going to be a fluid and high-scoring game given the atrocious weather the teams had been dealt with, but the prize of becoming Connacht Junior A champions ensured a gripping affair.
Jarlath’s, the competition holders, started brightly and registered the first point of the game through Eoin Mannion while backed by a strong and tricky breeze.
St Attracta’s, on the other hand, were playing into a gusty wind which brought numerous challenges in itself.
