WATCH: Dunmore farmers hope for more goat meat on menus

AN ENTERPRISING couple in Dunmore who are raising goats to produce and sell goat meat are hoping their venture will help change the attitude of Irish meat eaters.

Paul and Ami Davis who live with their family in Dunmore will feature on tonight's episode of RTE's Ear to the Ground programme.

The popular show visited the Dunmore farm recently where Paul is cross breeding a meat producing Boer Buck goat with the standard milk producing dairy goat. Presenter Ella McSweeney visited the Dunmore farm during the busy spring kidding.
