Major investment secures further jobs in Tuam

A MAJOR investment by Steeltech at its headquarters in Tuam has secured the creation of 43 new jobs, bringing its workforce in the town to 163.

CEO Sean Brett confirmed that the company also has further expansion plans for its facility at the former Coca Cola site on the Galway Road on the town's outskirts.                  

The jobs were announced by Milltown native Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation Mary Mitchell O'Connor who was delighted to be visiting her home county to make such a positive announcement.

Steeltech see major markets for their products in mainland Europe and are firstly aiming to become the biggest supplier of steel sheds, garages, offices etc to the UK.
