Littering still a big problem throughout city and county

TUAM’S only town centre glass recycling facility was so busy it was emptied five times since Christmas.
But there is a persistent problem with littering at the site, with broken glass and empty containers left there.
A Rehab Glassco employee at the Palace Grounds site told The Tuam Herald yesterday (Tuesday) that this was his fifth pick-up in Tuam since Christmas.
