An Ghaeltacht special guests as Caltra unveil new facilities

CALTRA GAA Club will officially open their new pitch and dressingrooms on Sunday week, May 22, following an ambitious €1.7 million development on an 18-acre site in the village.
GAA President Aogán ” Fearghail will perform the official opening, before Galway play Cork in a senior football challenge match at 2 pm.
It’s all part of a weekend of celebration that kicks off on Friday, May 20, with a Sunday Game-style event in the Community Centre from 7 pm that will include such leading pundits as John O’Mahony, Dessie Dolan, Padraic Joyce and Mike Meehan. Leo Moran of Saw Doctors fame and Aidan Tierney, Tierney Talks, are also among the guests, while Ollie Turner will be Master of Ceremonies for the event.
