Tuam meeting to help strengthen Galway’s bid for Culture Capital 2020

THE Galway 2020 team are calling on the communities of North Galway to strengthen Galway 2020’s bid to become the European Capital of Culture 2020 by attending a public meeting on Wednesday, April 27 at Tuam Library from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.
Open to all, the meeting invites people to get involved in the next stage of Galway’s passionate bid and fight for the once in a lifetime opportunity for Galway to become the European Capital of Culture 2020.
Attendees are encouraged to voice their ideas and visions at Wednesday’s meeting to help the city and county bid.
The meeting will provide an update on the current status of the Galway 2020 European Capital of Culture Bid, outlining the next steps along with the positive impact that working with local communities across Galway county will have on Galway’s bid process.
