No break on parking fees

THE prospect of free parking in Co Galway towns is diminishing as councillors go back to the drawing board, despite six months deliberating the issue.
Two proposals, one involving a set two-hour period and a second a two-hour rolling period, were considered by the council’s Special Policy Committee in recent months, with both being ruled out over the cost implications.
