From Proclamation Day to a sunny St Patrick's Day

THERE might be plenty of water-themed floats popping up throughout the county’s streets tomorrow but the rain is predicted to stay away for most of the day.
Parade organisers are hoping that the promise of some much-needed spring sunshine and bright blue skies will encourage people of all ages to make an effort to wave flags and shake shamrocks for the wonderful selection of community parades taking place across the region. Local shops are getting ready for the launch of 99 ice-cream cone season.
The national day of celebrations follows Proclamation Day in every school in the country and 1916 themes are expected to dominate tomorrow’s parades.
