Sylane’s dream swept away by Eoghan Rua Gaile

JOY unconfined for the Derry and Ulster champions Eoghan Rua at Fr Tierney Park  on Sunday; unfortunately an afternoon to forget for Sylane.
Their dashed hopes of an All-Ireland final appearance at Croke Park may not fall into the 'could have’, 'should have’ category, but the sense of regret from a poor second half performance will linger on this week.

Sylane’s All-Ireland adventure came to a disappointing end in Ballyshannon. Coming off the back of impressive County Junior 1 and Connacht final wins, it was a day when little went right for them after a competitive yet low-scoring opening half.
