Don't miss Margo TV special

AS a teenage Country singer Margo was one of only a few Irish female stars to have their own TV show in the 1960s and 70s. Now Ms O’Donnell will be the subject of a two-hour TV special based on her 50 years in showbusiness to be screened this Sunday night, November 1 on Irish TV Sky Channel 191 at 8 pm.
Margo was only 13 when she started out singing at weekends and during school holidays with a band from her home area in Donegal. On the TV show, filmed in Bundoran earlier this month, she and her guests reflect on half a century of highs and lows.
The show will also be available on DVD for the Christmas market.
Many Irish stars pay tribute to Margo and she is also congratulated on a video clip from Nashville, Tennessee by Dolly Parton who speaks highly of the Donegal singer and of having recorded with her.
