Tuam aunts helping hand to aussie captain

TUAM connections could make the semi-finals of the rugby World Cup a very interesting affair if Joe Schmidt’s men advance to the penultimate stage of the competition.
Australia are the likely opponents if Ireland can overcome Argentina this Sunday, and if that happens a Tuam man will be leading the Wallabies on to the pitch.
Stephen Moore, hooker and team captain, has strong links with Tuam, through his father Tommy who was born in the Grove and grew up in the town.
Tommy’s sister Teresa Leufer has travelled to England to help Stephen’s wife Courtney take care of their two young children during the tournament.
