THERE’S simply no stopping Corofin in Galway.
For a third successive year they stamped their authority on County final day and just like Salthill-Knockncarra and St Michael’s, Mountbellew-Moylough were left with few answers as the reigning champions opened up at Tuam Stadium on Sunday.
It was a win that brought Galway title number 17, a historic first-ever three in-a-row for the club and moved them alongside St Grellan’s, Ballinasloe, behind only Tuam Stars on the roll of honour.
The manner of it also laid down a marker that they’re intent on mounting a serious defence of their Connacht and All-Ireland titles
