Milltowns frank is named a national community hero

FRANK Glynn of Milltown TidyTowns Committee is one of only ten from across Ireland to be presented with a SuperValu Community Hero Award this week.
Frank, who was nominated by fellow Milltown TidyTowns Committee members and Tuam SuperValu retailer Joe O’Toole, was recognised for his unwavering commitment to enhancing Milltown over six decades.
HE was presented with this national commendation at a ceremony attended by over 1,000 people in The Helix Centre, Dublin on Monday.
Among the many projects Frank has been a driving force behind are the development of a Heritage Park, a playground, tennis courts and the award-winning Clare River Walk.
