Tuam school criticises ridiculous decision to axe key support post

A SUBSTANTIAL number of Tuam students will be affected by the loss of a key support post in a secondary school in the town from September, according to its principal.
St Jarlath’s College is to lose its Home School Community Liaison Officer (HSCLO) at the end of next month, six years after the school assumed the post when it amalgamated with St Patrick’s College.
