COMING hot on the heels of the hurling Féile, one of the busiest weekends on the club Gaelic football calendar goes ahead next weekend as the annual Féile na n”g U-14 boys competitions take pride of place at venues throughout the county.
Forty-two clubs will contest more than 75 matches at ten different venues on Saturday and the weekend will culminate in three divisional finals — the Feile na n”g, Feile na n”g A Shield and Feile na n”g B Shield — at Tuam Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
The competition remains one of the most prestigious events and since its inaugural year in 1982, over one million boys and girls are estimated to have taken part around the country.
