Athenry retain file title

ATHENRY are making serious waves in under-age hurling these days. For the second year in a row, the club captured the Galway Féile na nGael U-14 title, retaining their crown in convincing fashion with an ultra-impressive win over Kinvara on Sunday afternoon.
Kenny Park was the venue as the festival of under-age hurling came to a conclusion in glorious sunshine and in front of large crowds. In all, three finals were down for decision with some fantastic hurling in competitions that spanned 71 matches over three days.
