Many more millions to be spent on ashford castle in 2015

THE significant investment in Ashford Castle is to continue in the New Year with the go-ahead given for a new glass design spa and swimming pool.
The hotel, which is actually located within Galway’s country boundary with most of the grounds in Co Mayo, has been undergoing a massive multi-million euro refurbishment and upgrading development over the past year.

The major investment in Ashford is not only expected to be an overall tourism boost to the Galway-Mayo region but will result in additional employment.
The ongoing improvements already undertaken have resulted in significant construction jobs and hundreds more tradespeople will be on site in the first three months of 2015.
