Muliainas connacht debut marked with convincing win over bottom side zebre
NOVEMBER rain did little to dampen the atmosphere at the Sportsground last Friday evening where Connacht resumed their winning ways in the Guinness Pro 12 campaign after a two-week break with a resounding victory over bottom of table Zebre.
A bonus point capped off an industrious evening for the hosts who took their time getting the tries on the scoreboard, but finished the night with four to the good.
A slow start wasn’t helped by Ian Porter’s failure to convert Connacht’s first two penalties, but the biggest impediment to a free flowing game were the elements, with heavy showers making for a messy, error-ridden encounter.
