All too easy again for corofin itll be a whole new ball game the next day

THE statistics speak for themselves. A 35-point winning margin, seven second-half goals and ten names on the scoresheet.
It all added up to one of the most one-sided wins imaginable as Corofin easily dealt with the challenge of Aughawillan at Páirc Seán Mac Diarmada, Carrick-on-Shannon on Sunday.
The bookies’ pre-match odds suggested this Connacht semi-final would be a mere formality and that’s how it worked out with Stephen Rochford’s side doing everything required of them, and more.
Next up is a Connacht final with a battle-hardened Ballintubber team that has serious form in the book after wins over Castlebar Mitchels (All-Ireland finalists last March) and St Brigid’s (All-Ireland champions a year earlier).
As the final scoreline suggests, Corofin were emphatic winners. After a shaky opening quarter, their defence was completely on top with centre-back Alan Burke standing out.
