Over 100 tractors to hit the road for kilkerrin community pitch

KILKERRIN has about 120 tractors and it is hoped that most of those, plus others from neighbouring parishes, will take to the road on Sunday week October 12 in a fundraising drive around the area to help raise some of the €40,000 needed to upgrade dressing rooms and provide floodlights for the Fr Lynch Community Park in the parish.
One of the organisers, Steve Lee, says they have already identified a route for the “fun tractor run” and the journey will take approximately one hour and ten minutes to complete.
But this is not just an event for the adult tractor drivers as the organisers are involving the tractor drivers of the future too.
