Lisa mc hugh starts a new countrymusic show on sky this month

WHILE she is not giving up the night work as a singer, pretty Lisa McHugh has also landed herself a job as a presenter with Irish TV and her new show starts on Sky’s 191 channel this Sunday night week September 14 at 9.30.
The show is called On the Road with Lisa and it will see the 26-year-old Scottish-born but Irish-based singer take some of her country music colleagues out of their comfort zones as they learn a series of new skills or else try to teach her new skills.
Viewers will see Lisa tackling fishing with Nathan Carter and getting a hole in one with Daniel O’Donnell, even though she says her high heel shoes were not suited for the golf course!
For one of the TV programmes Lisa visited Athenry where she was taken greyhound training by singer Jimmy Buckley, who lives on the outskirts of the town. He has a number of top class greyhounds and as his family have been involved with the training and breeding of dogs for years, especially his brother Pat who is one of Ireland’s leading trainers, it is second nature for Jimmy to be involved in this business as well as with music.
